Youth Tribes

Youth Tribes are the stereotypical groups which youths seem to have split up into within our modern society. They are determined by theri lifestyle, music they listen to, brands they use, fashion sense etc. Of course, not every youth is in just one group, in fact, most of them are spread across multiple groups and can vary hugely.

Magazine Reproduction

This magazine was created to represent what a typical magazine would look like. It is vaguely based on the UK magazine "Hello" hence the masthead "HIYA!"

My "PRESS START" magazine production

The target audience which I have aimed my magazine at are upper lower class to upper middleclass. The youth tribe is “real gamers” because it is a gaming magazine. The target audience areinterested in console and PC gaming but mainly console games. They use the Xbox mainly, butmay also own a PS. They do not know anything about Nintendo consoles. This appeals to mytarget audience because of the cover image which is Master Chief and he is one of the mascotsof Xbox. The masthead also contains an Xbox power button which obviously represents Xbox.

This also appeals to my  target audience because  of its colour scheme which  also relates to Xbox. The “free inside” game also suggests that it is a very good game because it comes with the UK’s best Gaming Magazine. Also, Xbox users would want to read the article about the creator, Bill Gates.
